  • Partner with clients as an advocate for the pet to plan follow-up visits, and provide home-care instructions and education to ensure the lifelong health of their pets

Paws, Claws, and Hooves Veterinary Center is looking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our incredible team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with alternating Saturday shifts. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of prior experience as an assistant, however, we’re also open to training those who are eager to learn.

Primary Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Client communication and education
  • Mixed animal patient handling and restraint
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Blood draw and IVC placement
  • Pharmacy duties and lab work
  • Vaccines and injections
  • Assisting with phone lines
  • General hospital cleaning

Paws, Claws, and Hooves Veterinary Center, a growing, multi-doctor general practice, is looking to add a Veterinary Receptionist to our incredible team. This is a full-time position and will include rotating Saturday shifts.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior customer service experience is a must, experience in the veterinary field is preferred
  • High-energy team players with excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • Candidates should have great attention to detail, be outgoing and friendly, and enjoy connecting with clients as well as the team
  • Comfortable around animals (small animal, avian, large animals, and pocket pets)
  • Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on rotation
